✦ PRESSURE WASHING · LONDON & NEARBY
Decking cleaning should follow the material and its condition rather than one pressure setting. Identify timber or composite boards and show loose sections or existing treatments so care can be assessed without masking structural defects.

✦ A DEFINED PRESSURE WASHING TASK
Surface deposits, weathering and degraded timber are different issues. A clean board may still sit on an unsuitable frame, while a sound deck can require careful maintenance rather than replacement. Provide product guidance if available and identify any coating, stain or paint. Cleaning should not be described as a confirmed restoration of colour or grip. Areas beside planters, steps and shaded corners may need different preparation within the same deck.
Agree the suitable method, water source, cleared working area and any proposed follow-on finish. Product compatibility matters for composite surfaces and treated timber. Oil, stain or sealant application is not automatically included, and the deck should not be used as a safe platform for cleaning if its support has not been assessed.
✦ SCOPE & PRACTICAL ARRANGEMENTS
Show product details, weathering and previous coatings alongside wide views of the deck.
Highlight loose fixings, soft timber and movement so repair concerns are separated from surface cleaning.
Specify any compatible finishing treatment separately, with drying and use requirements confirmed.
For decking cleaning, send postcode, dimensions and photos of boards, edges and steps. Include the water point and identify previous finishes or product instructions. Explain what furniture must move and any signs of weakness. The quotation separates cleaning, optional treatment and repairs rather than treating them as one automatic package.
Frame repairs, board replacement, balustrade work and electrical lighting have separate scopes. Cleaning does not provide a structural safety certificate or confirm against slippery conditions returning.
✦ BEFORE YOU BOOK
Provide the product details if possible. The manufacturer guidance and surface condition inform the appropriate treatment.
Only where specified. Confirm the compatible product and preparation rather than assuming a finishing coat.
Show deterioration and movement before work is agreed. Repairs may need assessment ahead of any surface treatment.
No exact restoration is promised. Weathering, coatings and material condition affect appearance.
The method, drying and any finish determine the appropriate restriction; confirm it for the actual job.
