Repair, replace or install a new boundary
A fencing quotation needs more than a count of panels. The condition of the posts, the boundary line, ground levels and access determine whether repair or replacement is practical. Show both sides where possible and identify the sections involved. Tell us what needs to remain, including gates, planting and any sound posts or panels you want assessed for reuse.
Measure the approximate run and desired height, and show changes in level or obstructions along the line. Concrete posts, timber posts, gravel boards, fixings and panel sizes need an agreed specification. A custom or slatted fence may be designed around the site rather than fitted as a standard panel system. Boundary ownership and permission to access neighbouring land must be clarified by the relevant parties before work. If one section has failed, photograph the neighbouring sections too. The visible damage may be local, while the condition of the supporting posts and surrounding ground determines the practical repair and whether further replacement needs discussion.

Agree the work before it starts.
Installation, replacement and repairs are different buying decisions. A damaged panel may be replaceable while surrounding posts remain usable; several leaning or deteriorated sections may need a wider replacement. We assess what can be retained before defining the scope. Privacy fencing should consider height and spacing, but the finished specification cannot be inferred from a picture alone. Removal of old material and reinstatement around posts are included only when stated.
Everyone who works on your property is covered by public liability insurance, and we check this before they start.

Can you replace only the panels?+
Panel replacement is part of the replacement or repair scope. The existing posts, dimensions and fixings need checking before a panel-only job is confirmed.
Are concrete posts available?+
Concrete posts are included in the service options. Their size, condition, foundations and suitability are agreed in the specification; they are not automatically included in every quote.
Can I supply the fencing materials?+
Discuss labour-only work before ordering. We agree sizes, quantities and the specification so supplied materials match the planned installation.
Does the quote include old fence disposal?+
Disposal is stated in the quotation. Show the old materials and carry route so removal, loading and any separate waste allowance can be agreed.
