Lawn mowing in London includes the agreed mowing, strimming and edging, whether you need a regular cut or a one-off visit. We bring the equipment and gather the clippings. Other routine garden jobs can be included in the same maintenance booking.

A lawn left through a busy spell needs a different assessment from one we are keeping cut regularly. We look at the current grass, its edges and the access before estimating the hours. Where long grass is mixed with brambles or dense unwanted growth, we assess the work as garden clearance. Moss and bare patches are looked at separately, so the quotation distinguishes an ordinary cut from lawn restoration.
How we look after the lawn
We bring the mowing equipment and plan the cut around the lawn and access. Our gardening tools need no power or water from you. The visit covers the lawn work agreed in advance, with any extra restoration or other work discussed separately.
What's included
Care around the rest of the garden
We work to the priorities agreed for the booking. Hedge trimming, weeding and other routine garden care can be included in that same maintenance booking.
Clippings and the finish
We gather the grass clippings and sweep garden paths before checking the agreed work with you. Removing green waste from the property is a separate charge.

Mowing, strimming and edging use the maintenance hourly price shown above. Subject to assessment from photos or a visit. We confirm the lawn work and hours before booking; restoration and other separately assessed tasks are extra.

Lawn renovation is separate from routine maintenance. Planting materials are extra too.

Is edging part of the tidy-up?+
Yes. Mowing and edging are in the maintenance task list, with the actual priorities agreed during the appointment.
Can I ask for mowing at weekends?+
Weekend appointments are available subject to the schedule. The date still needs confirmation.
Will cutting cure a mossy or patchy lawn?+
We assess those problems before recommending work. Lawn renovation is not included in routine mowing or maintenance.
Must I supply electricity for the mower?+
No. Our gardening tools require no customer power or water supply. We bring the tools and van.
Is there a separate hourly rate for this task?+
No. The maintenance price and minimum booking are set out in What it costs. Mowing uses the garden-maintenance rate.
