Hedge work needs room to work as well as a clear idea of the finish. We look at the hedge and the growth around it, keeping the planting you want retained in the plan. Where a garden has become overgrown, we first open enough space to work safely. An ivy-covered weak fence needs assessment before we recommend cutting back; it is not treated as an ordinary hedge trim.
We agree the hedge work before starting and use our professional hedge trimmers, secateurs and loppers for the tasks in the quotation. Cutting follows the shape and priorities we have discussed. If we find work beyond the agreed trim, we discuss it before adding it to the job.
